Follow the directions out of the airport as if heading towards to the Gold Coast.
Once on the Gateway Motorway, heading south, go over the Gateway Bridge and thru' the toll (AUD$2.20).
Take the second exit - Old Cleveland Rd - off the Gateway Motorway after the Gateway Bridge. This exit will be on your left so drive in the left hand lane whilst on the Motorway.
Turn right at the lights at the base of the exit ramp. This is Old Cleveland Rd.
Stay on Old Cleveland Rd through 2 sets of lights. One just under the Motorway and the second a couple of kilometers further on. This intersection has a Kentucky Fried Chicken outlet on the corner to the right.
Go through this set of lights, and take the exit off Old Cleveland Rd to your left, just after the Bulimba Creek bridge.
There is a Westfield shopping center pylon at this point of exit.
The exit road is Carindale Street.
There is a roundabout ahead about a hundred meters.
Hotel Carindale is "over" the roundabaout.
Enter the roundabout, staying to the left hand lane. Do not take the first exit out of the roundabout, stay in it and the Hotel appears on the left.
The Hotel driveway entrance is a little further on to the left.
Enter the Hotel driveway and drive ahead, keeping to the left of the traffic island with the trees. Turn right when you near the Grape bottleshop. The Hotel’s reception is then directly in front of you. You may park your car in front of the reception area whilst you are checking in. Staff will then direct you to parking immediately adjacent to the Hotel (if available). If this parking is full, alternative parking is available beneath Westfield Carindale beneath David Jones. Hotel staff will provide you with a map indicating the access to this area. It is patrolled and open 24 hours a day.

Driving from the CBD:

Get onto the Riverside Expressway heading as if towards to the Gold Coast.
Stay in the left hand lane.
Take the Vulture St exit. Stay on Vulture St to Cavendish Rd.
Turn right into Cavendish Rd and left at Old Cleveland Rd.
Stay on Old Cleveland Rd until the Creek Rd/Old Cleveland Rd intersection.
Turn right into Creek Rd from the left hand turn lane, staying over in the left hand lane after the turn.
Turn left at next set of lights into Millennium Boulevard. This is also the entrance to Westfield Carindale. Go to the second round about. The Hotel will be on your right. Enter the roundabout, staying to the left hand lane. Do not take exit out of the roundabout, stay in it and the Hotel entrance ends up on your left.

Take the Gateway Motorway from Springwood. To your left off the M1 – signed as being towards the Sunshine Coast.

This exit will be on the left so drive in the left hand lane whilst on the Motorway.
